Food

For me, food is not just about taste. It’s culture, connection, hidden secrets, tradition, and constant discovery.

From the perfect coffee extraction to the tucked-away local trattoria, I love exploring and sharing everything that has soul.

I’m not chasing Fine Dining — I’m drawn to what’s real. Places where food is made with love, where every dish tells a story.

Ever since I started traveling, I realized how much food plays a key role in the experience.
It’s not just about satisfying hunger — it’s about understanding the soul of a place through its flavors, rituals, and people. A perfect espresso, a street food stall, or a humble trattoria can leave a stronger memory than any landmark.

To capture those feelings and keep them alive, I began writing reviews — first just for myself, then on Google, where they could help other travelers make better choices and, at the same time, support small local businesses that truly deserve it.

Over time, I refined my approach. My philosophy is simple: I only review what truly deserves to be remembered. It’s either 5 stars or nothing — because I’m not here to judge or criticize, I’m here to highlight what’s real, heartfelt, and worth discovering.

If you find something I reviewed, know that it meant something to me. Behind each place, there’s an experience, a detail, a smile — something that made it stand out in a world full of noise.

🌍 Curious to see where I’ve been (and where I’ll go next)?

I’d love to have you along for the ride.

Esperienza ai confini col mistico, in un locale che ha molto da dare a chi se lo sa prendere.

During my stay in Rio I have tried almost all the specialty coffee places on my list, and if some had a slightly better product or execution, Aussie offered me the best experience.

The place is not fancy, but at Robinson Crusoe you can have a real Japanese experience. They have Japanese curry with different options of meat — I got the pork one and it was great!

Coffee

☕️ Coffee is not just coffee

What started as a daily habit quickly became a deep curiosity — and then a full-blown obsession.
I’m a coffee geek, and I’m proud of it.

From brewing methods to bean origins, I’ve spent the last few years exploring what makes a coffee special, beyond the taste: culture, terroir, community, chemistry, and care.

🌍 The specialty coffee movement

There’s a growing global movement that sees coffee not just as a product, but as a story — from farmer to roaster to barista to cup.
This is what specialty coffee is all about: transparency, traceability, and intentionality.

I believe in giving value to every step of the process, and I believe in people, those who bring out the best in a single origin, a brewing method, or a simple espresso shot done right.

The Project:

My plan?
I want to talk about coffee — and the people behind it, from every corner of the world.
I want to share their perspectives, their stories, and everything I learn along the way: what I taste, what I discover, and what inspires me. This is more than a passion — it’s a journey.

I leave you my coffee map here 👇

Why I Created Food Port?

In the world of food and hospitality, one thing has always been clear to me:
if there’s value in the product, it’s because someone puts in their hands, sweat, and heart—every single day.
It’s the people who turn ingredients into stories, identity, and real work.

Too often, those who make a living in this industry face problems and complications that leave little room for innovation or digital growth.
Then come the platforms—yes, they help increase sales, but at the cost of high commissions and limited control over your own service.

So I asked myself: How can I help people in food service solve these issues?

That’s how Food Port was born.
To help restaurants, delis, and small food businesses manage takeaway orders and their online presence in a simple, autonomous, and smart way.

It’s a simple, autonomous, and tailor-made platform, designed to help you:

  • Manage takeaway orders smoothly, without unnecessary middlemen
  • Build your own online presence, independent and customizable
  • Avoid mistakes and misunderstandings by knowing your customers better
  • Reduce the high commissions imposed by big platforms

Food Port doesn’t promise miracles—you’ll still have to put in the work and dedication.
But it gives you a concrete tool, built for those who want to work better, with more freedom and in a smarter way.

👉 The software is currently in testing phase, but if you’d like to know more, see how it works, or just have a chat about it, feel free to write me at info@foodport.tech.
I’d love to tell you everything and hear your story too.
